Terms of Service
Last updated: July 3, 2026
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the rootblocks.com website (the "Site"), operated by RootBlocks LLC ("RootBlocks", "we", "us"). By using the Site, joining the early-access list, or booking a call, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
RootBlocks LLC operates rootblocks.com, the public website for RootBlocks: the governed rail for AI coding agents. You can contact us at hello@rootblocks.com.
2. The Site today (pre-launch)
The Site is informational and pre-launch. It describes a product under active development, lets you request early access, and lets you book a call with us. No self-serve purchase is available through the Site at this stage, and nothing on the Site constitutes an offer capable of acceptance by payment.
Prices shown on the Site are launch pricing strategy. They are subject to calibration with our first design partners and may change before general availability. Features described as roadmap, rolling out, or concept preview are not commitments to deliver by any date.
3. Early access and the design-partner program
Submitting the early-access form places you on a list; it does not create an obligation for us to grant access, nor an obligation for you to purchase anything. Design-partner participation, when offered, will be governed by a separate agreement.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Site: no attempts to breach, probe, or overload it; no scraping at abusive volume; no submitting false, unlawful, or infringing content through the forms; no impersonation of any person or organization.
5. Intellectual property
The Site, its content, design, and the RootBlocks name, logo and block-seal mark are the property of RootBlocks LLC or its licensors, protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not use them without our prior written permission, except for fair, referential uses.
The evidence.v1 receipt format is published openly so receipts can be verified by anyone; openness of the format is not a license to the RootBlocks trademarks or to the Site content.
6. Third-party and self-hosted services
Booking runs on a self-hosted Cal.com scheduling service, in-page support chat runs on a self-hosted Chatwoot service, and site analytics run on a self-hosted, cookieless Umami service. These are operated within our fleet infrastructure as processors for us; using the booking or chat features means the data you provide there is processed as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. No professional advice
Content on the Site, including the compliance page, explains how RootBlocks maps evidence to frameworks such as ISO/IEC 42001 or SOC 2. It is provided for information only and is not legal, audit, or compliance advice. You are responsible for your own compliance decisions and should consult your own advisors and auditors.
8. Disclaimers
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RootBlocks LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Site. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD 100).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RootBlocks LLC and its officers, members, and employees from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be reflected on this page; continued use of the Site after changes means you accept them.
12. Governing law and severability
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
